Exhibit Regulations

Please review the following regulations setup for exhibits at RAA.

[B] Exhibit Structure

• B-1: Exhibits may only contain a maximum of 500 total parts. Please use the Part Counter Plugin to verify compliance >

  • B-1a: Unnecessary or hidden parts must be removed.

• B-2: Can Collide must be disabled on parts that do not require collision.

• B-3: Shadows must be disabled on parts that do not require shadows or won’t be visible to the audience.

• B-4: Exhibits must be kept within a maximum size of 45x50 studs (length x width).

• B-5: Though exhibits will be placed outdoors, please keep exhibit structures at a reasonable height.

[S] Scripting

• S-1: NO SCRIPTS are allowed except for:

  • S-1a: Animations.

  • S-1b: Display screens showing moving images.

  • S-1c: Tech group product showcases.

  • S-1d: Clothing sales.

  • S-1e: Special request, upon approval by an RAA Project Lead member.

[A] Asset Use

• A-1: If you plan to display items from another tech group that you own, verify the assets on the owned assets page before adding them. We may need confirmation from the tech group before allowing them. OWNED ASSETS PAGE >

[P] Presentation

• P-1: Exhibits must be visually appealing and well-developed. Avoid rushed or low-quality presentations that could detract from the airshow experience.

[O] Operational Requirements

• O-1: If your exhibit will not be manned during the event, design it to operate independently without requiring an attendant.

[T] Timeline

• T-1: Weekly development updates may be requested if you have not yet submitted an approved exhibit. 

• T-2: Final exhibit submissions are due by December 20th, 2024. No exceptions.

[R] Revision Clause

• R-1: RAA reserves the right to update these rules as needed. Notifications will be provided if any changes are made.
